4. Contact Forms and Email
Our website uses Contact Form 7 to process inquiries submitted through our contact page.
Form submissions are delivered to our business email account. We use Google Workspace to manage business email and communications.
Contact Form 7 does not normally store submissions in the WordPress database on its own. However, information may remain in our email inbox, email records, service logs, and backups. Additional website tools, if enabled, may also process or retain submission information.
Please do not submit passwords, payment card information, confidential employee records, or other sensitive information through the general inquiry form.
If a project requires access to sensitive business information, we will discuss appropriate methods for sharing it separately.
5. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell personal information collected through our website or accessed as part of client engagements.
We may use third-party service providers to operate our website and communicate with visitors. These include:
- Hostinger: Website hosting, infrastructure, and related technical services.
- Google Workspace: Business email and communication services.
- WordPress and website plugins: Website content management, contact form processing, and related functionality.
These providers may process information as necessary to deliver their services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect our rights or the security of the website, or as otherwise permitted by law.
6. Cookies and Website Technology
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies needed for basic website operation, administration, performance, and security.
WordPress may use cookies for administrator login, session management, and editing preferences.
Third-party tools, if enabled, may also use cookies or process technical information. Examples include website analytics, spam protection, embedded content, and security services.
Most browsers allow you to manage or block cookies through their settings. Restricting certain cookies may affect website functionality.
7. Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of websites we do not control. We encourage visitors to review the privacy policies of those services.
8. How Long We Keep Information
We retain business inquiries and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, evaluate potential projects, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Information may also remain temporarily in hosting logs, email systems, and backups according to the applicable service configurations and retention schedules.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or otherwise handle it securely, subject to applicable retention requirements. Client project data is subject to the applicable agreement and the additional practices described in Section 12.
9. Information Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect information submitted through our website and business communication systems.
These precautions include using established website hosting and email providers, account access controls, and security features appropriate for our operations. Additional safeguards and access limits apply to information handled during client projects, as described in Section 12.
No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Your Privacy Choices
You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion of information you previously provided.
We will review and respond to privacy requests in accordance with applicable law, subject to any legitimate business, legal, or recordkeeping requirements.
To make a request, email chris@l2golfops.com .
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests to protect your information from unauthorized disclosure. If your information is held by a golf course client whose systems we support, please ordinarily contact that golf course directly. We may refer the request to the client as appropriate.
11. Children’s Privacy
L2 Golf Ops provides business-to-business services and does not direct its website or services toward children.
We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through our business inquiry form.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our website, please contact us so we can review the situation. Client systems may contain junior golfer or family records; where access is authorized for a project, those records are treated as client information under Section 12.
12. Client Projects and Golf Course Data
In addition to operating this website, L2 Golf Ops may provide operations and technology services to golf course owners, managers, and other authorized clients. Depending on the agreed project, this may involve access to a client’s tee sheet, point-of-sale, membership, reporting, website, or administrative systems.
Types of information. Client systems may contain golfer or member names, contact details, reservations, transaction histories, membership records, staff information, operational reports, and confidential financial or business data. Some facilities may also maintain junior golfer and family information. The information involved depends on the specific project and access granted.
Purpose and authorization. L2 accesses client systems and information only with the client’s authorization and for agreed services, such as system setup, reporting, troubleshooting, process improvements, or project implementation. We do not use client customer lists for L2’s own marketing or unrelated projects.
Client control. The client retains control of its systems and business records and ordinarily decides why and how customer information is used. L2 acts as a service provider for authorized tasks. The client’s own privacy obligations and applicable laws continue to apply.
Access and security. We seek to limit access to what is needed for the project, use individual accounts and multifactor authentication where supported, and use appropriate safeguards for storing or transferring information. Access and security responsibilities are defined further in client agreements.
Copies and sensitive data. When practical, work is performed within the client’s existing systems. We avoid unnecessary exports or retained copies. Full payment-card information, passwords, government identifiers, and similarly sensitive records should not be sent through our general website contact form. Any project requiring special categories of data or payment-system access must be separately reviewed and authorized.
Service providers and AI tools. We do not intentionally disclose identifiable client records to unrelated third parties or upload them into general-purpose AI services without appropriate client authorization and safeguards. Any approved external tools or subcontractors used for a project are subject to agreed conditions.
Project completion and incidents. At the end of an engagement, client access should be reviewed and information returned or deleted as set out in the client agreement, subject to legitimate retention obligations. If we become aware of a suspected security incident involving client information, we will coordinate promptly with the affected client under our agreement and applicable law.
Client-specific service agreements, scopes of work, and data protection terms may set more detailed requirements. Those agreements govern the applicable engagement if their terms differ from this general website policy.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, services, or business practices change.
Any revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
We encourage visitors to review this page periodically.
